Linda was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, back when you could buy a house there for $3000. At a young age she moved with her family to Spokane, Washington. Always engrossed in art, she gave art classes to the neighbourhood kids at age ten. Serious art education started with oil and pastel classes in her early twenties. Later after immigrating to Canada she attended the Fine Arts program at Kwantlen College, in Vancouver for 2 years. In 1996, Linda discovered her love of watercolour and enrolled in classes at UBC.
In the last 15 years she has studied under well known Vancouver artists; (the late) Katherine Haynes, and Barb Janus, and internationally known artists (the late) Zoltan Szabo, Joe Fettingis, and Bruce Marion.
Linda has since begun painting in oils and acrylics along with watercolour and has won awards in British Columbia and Arizona for her paintings. Her work is currently displayed at the Yuma Fine Arts Gallery in Yuma, Arizona, and Artworks Gallery in Sandpoint, Idaho.
