June has painted for many years and has been fortunate in improve her skills. She attended Okanagan College where she received her BFA. She works in many mediums: oil, acrylic and watercolor, and when she needs some color and fantasy to spice things up, she does encaustics, which is her most recent medium.
June lives in British Columbia, Canada, in the Okanagan Valley. In the summer, she spends time camping and painting plein air and doing the back country on her Quad with her camera. She says, "I will never live long enough to paint all the pictures I have taken!"
Her paintings have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of the South Okanagan and at Leir House. She also has many paintings in private collections across Canada and Australia.
